PROF. RAUL FANGUEIRO
Raul Fangueiro is currently professor and senior researcher in the School of Engineering at the University of Minho, Portugal. He is the Head of the Fibrous Materials Research Group of the same university with expertise in advanced materials (nano, smart, composites) and structures (3D, auxetic, multiscale) with 25 researchers. He is the mentor and the coordinator of the FIBRENAMICS International Platform (www.fibrenamics.com) including 250 partners developing promotion, dissemination, technology transfer and research activities on fiber-based advanced materials. He has more than 125 published papers in international reputed scientific journals, 350 conference publications, 36 books and 14 patents. He is the scientific coordinator of several national and international research projects on advanced fibrous and composite materials, manly for building, architectural and health-care applications. He supervised various PhD and Pos-Doc scientific works and is an expert of the European Technological Textile Platform and member of the editorial board of several leading international scientific journals on composite and fibrous materials.

PROF. PAULO RIBEIRO
Paulo Ribeiro is currently Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Minho, Portugal. He is Deputy Director of the Research Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) and 1st secretary of the social board of TecMinho. He holds a MSc in Transport Infrastructures “Study of Urban Streets” (UPorto) and a PhD in Civil Engineering on “Healthy routes for active modes of transport” (UMinho). With more than 15 years of experience in transportation and sustainable mobility, he is the Coordinator of the 2nd phase and Co-coordinator of the 1st phase of the Living Laboratories for Urban Decarbonisation promoted by the Portuguese government, Coordinator of the Action Plan for Sustainable Urban Mobility of the Ave Inter-municipal Community, Coordinator of the Sustainable Mobility Plan for the Inter-municipal Communities of Tâmega e Sousa e Terras de Trás-os-Montes and was Co-coordinator in the development of plans for the Municipal Electric Mobility of the pilot-phase of the Portuguese MOBI.E program. He has authored more than 40 scientific publications and 2 patents and is currently developing research in Sustainable Mobility, Transports, Traffic Engineering and Innovation in Cities Management.
